The Boston 4th of July fireworks show never fails to deliver and 2013 (the 40th anniversary of the first show) was no exception. The video was shot from the 15thfloor of a building in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA (thank you, Cambridge Innovation Center, and especially Hillary and Nate!).
The show included fireworks from the Harvard Bridge (cool!), so I couldn't get all of it in a single frame. So we went from tripod-mounted to handheld, not improving the focus. And for some reason, the music simulcast started minutes later than the fireworks (I guess that makes it a not-so-simulcast). There are two versions below: one with the fireworks sound in real-ish time (light still travels faster than sound) and one with an attempt to synchronize the Boston Pops show with the fireworks.
Curious: which version do you prefer?? Comment below and let me know!
