  • MIT $50K and $100K Business Plan Competition resource pages:

  • The MIT $50K business plan competition is an MIT student-run event that has operated for the past 15 years. Last year, it was changed to the MIT $100K and features social enterprise and clean energy aspects. The student groups have developed an extensive website of resources and examples to write business plans and business plan executive summaries. We encourage teams entering the ICE Competition to leverage the effort they put into developing their investor pitch by entering the MIT $100K (or other competitions). Please note that the ICE Competition does not require a business plan but the MIT $100K does require an investor pitch. However, development of a formal business plan will also help your pitch.
  • Business Plan Pro by Palo Alto Software (Standard Edition, $99.95): The software contains wizards, financial models, and templates for writing a wide range of business plans.
