ICE Community
The Clean Energy Cluster is not just about competing in ICE or volunteering to help us run the Competition. The Cluster is made up of everyone who contributes ideas, money, products, or services into the industry or is a customer for any of those items. Our goal at the Energy Special Interest Group is to help build that Cluster, and that means providing resources and opportunities for learning, networking and winning after the ICE Finals are over for the year and for all people and organizations in the Cluster. This section of the website is dedicated to the community as a whole and we ask for your feedback to help us serve you.
Learn
The Energy Special Interest Group hosts several events a year, often co-hosting with other clean energy organizations such as Environmental Entrepreneurs and the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition. We target topics that are of interest to large segments of the Cluster population, always focused on critical business issues. Specialization in industry sectors is better managed by their own organizations, which is why the co-hosting model is effective.
In addition to our Energy SIG events, we invite entrepreneurs and others who want workshops, tutorials, or seminars on subjects associated with developing your businesses to contact us. We will be happy to work with you to develop a local event tailored to meet your needs. You can learn about events we have already developed or propose new ones.
Network
Obviously, all our events provide opportunities to network, too. Participating in the Competition is your best opportunity to network in person because your team will have an experienced mentor and you will interact with the judges as well as raising the profile of your company. But not everyone has time or interest in these events - so we encourage you to make use of the on-line community opportunities we offer at this website.
Message Boards and Forums
We invite you to join our ICE Discussion Group and start your own forum or thread. Ask a question, look for teammates, discuss critical topics of the day. We want you!
Blogs
Someday really soon, our webmaster will figure out how to add a blog to this website and invite you to read about the Competition, get tips and opinions, and start more discussions. Until then, use the ICE Discussion Group, OK?
